As part of the transformation agenda and revenue drive of domestic taxes, there have been the introduction of new taxes and amendments of existing legislations that impact on taxpayers.

Regarding the digitization drive of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), The Commissioner-General has issued policy directives to change some of the manual/physical processes such as;

  • The Cashless policy which was fully enforced effective 1st July 2021 to ensure domestic taxpayers pay their taxes using the Ghana.gov platform or at any of the designated banks
  • The Electronic Taxpayers Portal which was fully enforced effective 1st April 2022 allows taxpayers to process various transactions online.

These changes in legislation and administrative processes have to be understood and complied with by individuals and entities.

In furtherance of this, AA&K Consulting Services LTD is organizing a day’s training programme for its clients to equip them with beer knowledge and understanding of the changing legislations, and administrative procedures and facilitate compliance.
